"Das ist ein Eingriff in die bestehenden Tarifverträge in der Zeitarbeit, den wir aufs schärfste verurteilen", reagierte Holger Piening, stellvertretender Bundesvorsitzender des Interessenverbandes Deutscher Zeitarbeitsunternehmen (iGZ) auf den Tarifabschluss der Stahlindustrie. Die Tarifparteien hatten darin unter anderem gleichen Lohn für die Zeitarbeitnehmerschaft vereinbart. "Wenn die IG Metall über Tarife in der Zeitarbeit verhandeln will, sind wir der Ansprechpartner", stellte Piening unmissverständlich fest. Dieses Verhalten sei mit Blick auf den erst im April beschlossenen neuen Tarifvertrag der DGB-Gewerkschaften mit dem iGZ umso befremdlicher. "Die IG Metall unterläuft auf Kosten der Tarifautonomie ihre eigenen Abschlüsse", betonte der stellvertretende Vorsitzende des mitgliederstärksten Arbeitgeberverbandes der Zeitarbeitsbranche in diesem Zusammenhang. Außerdem laufe der Abschluss dem Fairnessabkommen zuwider, das die IG Metall im April 2008 mit den Zeitarbeitgeberverbänden iGZ und BZA unterzeichnet habe. "Darin", so Piening, "wurde ausdrücklich vereinbart, dass die BZA/iGZ/DGB-Tarifverträge eingehalten werden und die IG Metall den eigenständigen Charakter und Wert der Zeitarbeitsbranche anerkennt". In Bezug auf die Inhalte der in der Stahlindustrie vereinbarten Regelung merkte Piening an, "dass die Besonderheiten, die für Zeitarbeitskräfte gelten, überhaupt nicht berücksichtigt wurden". So sei zum Beispiel die bei Neueinsätzen anfänglich geringere Produktivität völlig außer Acht gelassen worden. Wenn die Stahlindustrie eine Lohnangleichung befürworte, dann sollte dies folgerichtig erst nach einer gewissen Einarbeitungszeit geschehen. Das Verhalten der IG Metall habe mit Partnerschaft wenig zu tun: "Die Gewerkschaft sollt mit uns und nicht über uns sprechen", unterstrich Holger Piening.
