Die Industrie- und Handelskammern Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, Düsseldorf und Köln sowie die Städte Bonn, Düsseldorf und Köln stellen sich bei der CeBIT als gemeinsame ITK-Standortinitiative Rheinschiene vor. Ab sofort finden interessierte Unternehmen unter www.itk-rheinschiene.de neben der Kurzdarstellung des Standortes Wissenswertes rund um die ITK- und Medienbranche zwischen Bonn, Köln und Düsseldorf, also etwa Veranstaltungshinweise, News oder Informationen zum IT-Recht. Darüber hinaus kann über die freie Stichwortsuche nach Unternehmen, Produktions- und Dienstleistungsspektrum oder nach Referenzen recherchiert werden. "Mit 133.000 Beschäftigten ist die ITK-Branche im Rheinland besonders stark vertreten", sagt ITK-Berater Heiko Oberlies von der IHK Bonn/Rhein-Sieg. Zur CeBIT 2007 bieten die Partner insbesondere für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen aus den IT-Anwenderbranchen maßgeschneiderte Touren an, um ihnen den Besuch der Messe zu erleichtern. Die "Guided Tours" der ITK-Rheinschiene führen am 19. und 20. März jeweils halbtägig zu vier bis fünf Ausstellern, die den Teilnehmern auf ihren Messeständen mit exklusiven Ansprechpartnern und Präsentationen zur Verfügung stehen. Zwei Touren widmen sich dem Thema "Security", je eine den Themen "Telekommunikation" und "Network Solutions". Die Guided Tours der ITK-Rheinschiene unterstützt die Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover, mit kostenlosen Eintrittskarten. Treffpunkt für die Tourteilnehmer ist jeweils die IC-Lounge im Infomations-Centrum zwischen den Messehallen 5 und 17 auf dem Messegelände in Hannover. Die Teilnehmerzahl pro Tour ist auf je zehn Personen begrenzt.
