Kurt Schmitz-Temming in den Vorstand der Union Europäischer Industrie- und Handelskammern (UECC) gewählt

Kurt Schmitz-Temming, stellv. Hauptgeschäftsführer der Industrie- und Handelskammer Bonn/Rhein-Sieg wurde am 29. Februar d.J. einstimmig in den Vorstand der deutschen Sektion der Union Europäischer Industrie- und Handelskammern (UECC) gewählt. Die UECC ist eine Vereinigung von 75 Industrie- und Handelskammern aus 11 europäischen Staaten. Sie setzt sich im Einzugsgebiet von Rhein, Rhone, Donau sowie den Alpen für eine an den Bedürfnissen der Wirtschaft orientierte Verkehrspolitik ein. Zu den vorrangigen Aufgaben der UECC zählt nach Schmitz-Temming u.a. ein maßgeschneiderter Ausbau der Verkehrsinfrastruktur zur Bewältigung der Seehafenhinterlandverkehre zwischen den ZARA-Häfen (Zeebrügge, Antwerpen, Rotterdam, Amsterdam) und dem Alpen- bzw. Mittelmeerraum Österreich, Schweiz, Italien.
