Bevölkerung wächst in Bonn und im Rhein-Sieg-Kreis

Die Bevölkerungszahlen nehmen bis zum Jahr 2030 nach den Prognosen des statistischen Landesamtes zu. Laut Angaben des IT.NRW steigt die Bevölkerungszahl im Rhein-Sieg-Kreis um 1,2 Prozent. Demnach leben 2030 rund 605.700 Einwohner im Rhein-Sieg-Kreis. In der Stadt Bonn ist der Zuwachs deutlich höher. Bis zum Jahr 2030 steigt die Bevölkerung um 11,5 Prozent auf 362.100 Einwohner.

"Die positive Bevölkerungsentwicklung zeigt, dass auch weiterhin viele Menschen in die Region Bonn/Rhein-Sieg ziehen. Sie finden hier gute Jobs und die Region bietet eine hohe Lebensqualität," sagte Dr. Hubertus Hille, Hauptgeschäftsführer der IHK Bonn/Rhein-Sieg zu den Bevölkerungsprognosen.

Das IT.NRW hat im Auftrag der Landesregierung die Bevölkerungsvorausberechnung bis zum Jahr 2030 veröffentlicht. Ausgangsbasis für die aktuelle Berechnung ist der Bevölkerungsstand zum 1. Januar 2011.
