Announcement: New versions of the LUMIMAX® LG Area Lights with LightGuide technology

Already at the beginning of next year, the new generation of the LUMIMAX® LG series will be available / The focus of this new development was on the casing design, the controller as well as the LightGuide technology

(PresseBox) (Suhl, )
The mechanical design of the LUMIMAX® Area Lights with LightGuide technology was significantly reduced by repositioning the cooling fins as well as the optimization of the light guides and the controllers. The dimensions and the weight of the new versions are about 25% lower compared to the predecessor models - with the same light field dimensions.

Furthermore, the Area Lightings convince with improved homogeneity and brightness values, since in all series - from LG1010 to LG4030 - the LED injections takes place on both sides in the light guide modules.

Uniform mounting holes facilitate the integration into existing systems as well as an easy replacement of different illumination sizes.

Thanks to newly developed flexible cable outlets on the rear of the lights, the connection cables can be flexibly positioned.

Thus, the optimized, more compact casing design with protection class IP64 enables flexible use in demanding industrial environments.

All known advantages of the LG series, such as the innovative LightGuide technology and the integrated lighting or flash controllers, are retained. Moreover, the series LG2020, LG3020 and LG4030 are still available as CB variants with camera hole for incident light applications. The start of production is scheduled for January 2020. Despite the numerous optimizations, the new LG Area Lights can be offered at the usual conditions.
