With the LR45 series, another high-performance high-power ring light from LUMIMAX® is now available. The lights distinguish themselves in particular by their extremely compact design and can be used even in challenging industrial environments.
With a free inner diameter of 45 mm, an outer diameter of 100 mm, a design height of 25 mm and a weight of just 250 g, the LR45 is the most compact high-power ring light of the LUMIMAX® LR series to date and one of the most compact on the Machine Vision market. The three-dimensional cable outlet on the back enables highly flexible electrical integration of the light. Rear mounting threads and versatile accessories allow uncomplicated mechanical connection to various cameras and sensors. With the aid of separately available lens adapters, the light can, for example, be screwed directly to the lens or protective tube of the camera. This makes the LR45 the ideal choice for use in confined spaces as well as in motion handling and robot vision systems – even under demanding industrial conditions thanks to IP64 protection.
Despite its compact exterior, high-performance integrated controller technology for either continuous, switched or flash operation mode is hidden inside the LR45. In addition, the light has high-speed trigger inputs and the option of brightness control.
The 24 built-in high-power LEDs are available in the light colours red, white, blue, green or infrared. The irradiance characteristics of the light can be adjusted to the application with the aid of ancillary lenses. The lenses are mounted in lens arrays, enabling quick and uncomplicated lens changes – even with mixed mounting of lenses with different beam angles. In addition, the pre-mounted transparent protective lens (ALK) can be replaced by a diffuse lens (ALD or ALHD), a polarised (POL) lens or a Fresnel lens (ALF) for small working distances of 100 mm. There is a filter thread (M46 x 0.75) on the lens side for the additional mounting of protective lenses and filters. Visually too, the LR45 therefore offers maximum flexibility for a wide range of machine vision applications.
