Practical mounting & plug-and-play solutions for Keyence Code Reader SR-1000 and SR-2000

The new LUMIMAX® mounting & plug-and-play solutions for the Keyence Code Readers SR-1000 and SR-2000 enable optimal and space-saving integration into the respective machine environment. In addition to the mounting accessories, the T1-Adapter cable offers a simple electrical integration.

The High Power LUMIMAX® LED Lights can be used to solve a wide variety of Machine Vision tasks. Besides the selection of the suitable lighting, their positioning in the Machine Vision system significantly affects the quality of the inspection image – it requires a precise and industrial-suitable fastening of the lighting in the system or directly to the camera. Thanks to a diverse range of accessories, LUMIMAX® Lightings can be easily integrated into various Machine Vision systems. The plug-and-play solutions for cameras and sensors from Cognex, Siemens and Baumer have already proven themselves. Now they are also available for the Keyence Code Readers SR-1000 and SR-2000:
  • the Adapter plate LAP for stable mounting of code reader and lighting in the machinery: With additional mounting accessories, different lighting series can be connected directly to the code reader
  • the Mounting plate LMP for mounting Area, Bar, Ring and Spot Lights on the adapter plate
  • the ► Mounting bracket LMW for mounting Ring Lights of the series LR50, LR70 – and soon also LR45 – on the adapter plate 
  • the ► Verification adapter LVA for the mounting of Coaxial, Miniature Bar and Dome Lighting on the adapter plate: The reproducible setup optimized for standard-compliant reading and verification of DMC codes
Filters with the M30.5x0.5 thread can be easily attached to the respective Keyence Code Reader using the Filter adapters SR-1000 or SR-2000. This option is particularly interesting for use in fluorescence applications: For the detection of fluorescent codes – commonly found in the areas of pharmacy, automotive, food, drinks and tobacco industries – often a filter combination is needed. This allows a precise separation of stimulation and emission wavelengths.

The demands placed on Machine Vision systems are becoming ever more complex, therefore camera integrated lighting solutions sometimes reach their limits. However, the LUMIMAX® Lighting portfolio and suitable accessories can easily extend existing systems.

For easy and fast electrical integration of the lighting, our T1-Adapter cable is predestined. Supply voltage and trigger signal for switching the lighting are obtained directly from the code reader – unnecessary wiring effort is eliminated.
