Herzstück der Veranstaltung ist ein Bericht über Richtlinien und Kriterien, mit deren Hilfe Verantwortliche entscheiden können, was ein ERP-System zukunftsfähig macht. Außerdem informieren die Veranstalter, welche Klippen in ERP-Projekten umschifft werden müssen. Zwischen 9:30–12 Uhr haben Entscheider, die ein ERP-Projekt planen, Gelegenheit zum Erfahrungsaustausch mit ERP-Anwendern, einem IT-Leiter, der über seine Erfahrungen mit der Einführung des CANIAS ERP-Systems referiert, Vertretern der Firma Industrial Application Software GmbH (IAS) aus Karlsruhe und der IT-Beratungsfirma Logisco.

Informationen über die wichtigsten Phasen des Projektes, von der Entscheidung, über die genau Projektdefinition und das Erstellen der Lasten-und Pflichtenhefte bis zur Wahl des richtigen ERP-Beraters und –Herstellers vervollständigen das Informationsangebot.
