Achtung, Geschäftsführerbertrug droht: CEO-Fraud

Beim "CEO-Fraud" gibt sich der Täter - nach Sammlung jeglicher Art von Informationen über das anzugreifende Unternehmen - als Geschäftsführer (CEO) dieses Unternehmens aus, der mit dem "ausgeforschten" Mitarbeiter Kontakt aufnimmt. Er fordert ihn unter Hinweis z. B. auf eine angebliche Unternehmensübernahme oder geänderte Kontoverbindung auf, den Transfer eines größeren Geldbetrages auf Konten in China und Hongkong oder auch in osteuropäischen Staaten vorzunehmen - das Geld ist anschließend weg.

Durch "CEO-Fraud" konnten Kriminelle in den letzten Monaten bereits mehrere Millionen Euro mit zum Teil gravierenden Folgen für das betroffene Unternehmen bzw. die getäuschten Mitarbeiter erbeuten.

Christoph Hollinger, Dezernatsleiter Wirtschaftskriminalität, Horst Zimmer, Sachgebietsleiter Qualifizierte Vermögensdelikte und Christian Stamm, Landeskriminalamt Saarbrücken, geben Hinweise zum frühzeitigen Erkennen solcher Betrugsversuche, zu deren Prävention und einer eventuell möglichen finanziellen Rückabwicklung.

Die Veranstaltungsteilnahme ist kostenlos, eine Anmeldung per Mail oder Fax ist erforderlich.
