Die Saarwirtschaft bleibt weiter auf Wachstumskurs. Der Aufschwung hat im November aber erneut etwas an Dynamik verloren. Das signalisieren die Einschätzungen der Unternehmen zu ihrer aktuellen Geschäftslage. Der IHK-Lageindikator fiel gegenüber dem Vormonat um 2,2 Punkte auf 30,9 Zähler. Das ist der fünfte Rückgang in Folge. Hauptgrund dafür ist die Entwicklung in der Industrie, die nach einem sehr starken ersten Halbjahr im Herbst einen Gang zurückgeschaltet hat. Die Geschäftslage bleibt aber weiter gut: Der Lageindikator für die Industrie liegt mit aktuell 24,0 Punkten immer noch deutlich über seinem langfristigen Durchschnitt (17,0 Punkte). Etwas eingetrübt haben sich auch die Aussichten für das kommende Winterhalbjahr. Der IHK-Erwartungsindikator hat leicht um 0,3 auf 3,5 Punkte nachgegeben; er bewegt sich aber immer noch im positiven Bereich. „Das heißt: Die Saarwirtschaft wird im Winter weiter wachsen, aber mit gemäßigtem Tempo. Dass es nicht mehr so zügig bergauf geht wie noch in der ersten Jahreshälfte, liegt in erster Linie an der schwächeren Weltkonjunktur und insbesondere an der stockenden Entwicklung in China und anderen Schwellenländern. Positive Impulse kommen dagegen weiterhin vom privaten Verbrauch und vom Exportgeschäft mit den USA und mit unseren Nachbarn in Europa. Unsere Prognose von 2,0 bis 2,5 Prozent Wachstum in diesem Jahr ist inzwischen – auch durch die amtliche Industriestatistik – gut abgesichert. Im kommenden Jahr dürfte sich das Saarwachstum allerdings wegen der zuletzt etwas schwächeren Dynamik auf rund 1,5 Prozent verringern. Das wäre dann aber immer noch ein Wachstum im Gleichschritt mit dem Bund.“ So kommentierte IHK-Hauptgeschäftsführer Volker Giersch die November-Umfrage der IHK Saarland, an der sich rund 300 Unternehmen mit gut 120.000 Beschäftigten beteiligten.
Insgesamt bewerten derzeit 39 Prozent der befragten Unternehmen ihre Geschäftslage mit gut, 52 Prozent mit befriedigend und 9 Prozent mit schlecht. Gut laufen die Geschäfte vor allem im Fahrzeugbau, die Keramikindustrie, im Ernährungsgewerbe sowie in der Medizin-, Mess- und Automatisierungstechnik. Im Maschinenbau, in der Elektroindustrie, bei den Gießereien, im Stahlbau, in der Pharmaindustrie sowie in der Gummi- und Kunststoffindustrie ist die Lage überwiegend befriedigend. In der Stahlindustrie hält der Druck auf die Preise bei guter Mengenkonjunktur an. Über alle Branchen gerechnet sind die Industrieumsätze an der Saar in den ersten drei Quartalen dieses Jahres um 8,2 Prozent gestiegen, im Bund dagegen nur um 2,1 Prozent. Giersch: „Trotz der Abschwächung am aktuellen Rand wird das Jahr 2015 für die Saarindustrie das zweite starke Jahr in Folge, und zwar mit beträchtlichem Vorsprung vor der Bundesindustrie.“
Im Dienstleistungsbereich berichten weiterhin rund 95 Prozent der befragten Betriebe über gute oder befriedigende Geschäfte. Die unternehmensnahen Dienstleister profitieren dabei von der immer noch guten Industriekonjunktur und der Handel von der gestiegenen Kaufkraft der Verbraucher. Nicht ganz so rund laufen die Geschäfte in der Bauwirtschaft. Hier ist die Lage überwiegend befriedigend.
