In diesem Jahr gibt es eine außergewöhnliche Konstellation: Muttertag und Pfingstsonntag fallen auf den 11. Mai. Die IHK weist darauf hin, dass im Saarland an diesem Tag Blumen verkauft werden dürfen. Der Verkauf ist möglich für insgesamt bis zu fünf Stunden. Auch am darauf folgenden Pfingstmontag ist der Verkauf von Blumen im Saarland abweichend von den Regelungen anderer Bundesländer für insgesamt bis zu fünf Stunden gestattet.
