EU-USA: Umfrage der EU-Kommission zu Handelsbarrieren für KMU im transatlantischen Handel

Die EU-Kommission möchte für die TTIP-Verhandlungen mit den USA eine umfassende Übersicht über die Handelsbarrieren ermitteln, mit denen europäische KMU konfrontiert sind, wenn sie in die USA exportieren oder aus den USA importieren. Daher führt die Kommission momentan eine Umfrage hierzu durch. Der Fragebogen ist online in Englisch verfügbar und kann von KMUs bis zum 14. Juli 2014 beantwortet werden.

Das Abkommen zur Transatlantischen Handels- und Investitionspartnerschaft (TTIP) soll bestehende tarifäre und nicht-tarifäre Handelshemmnisse weitest möglich abbauen. Da kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen (KMU) wegen begrenzter Ressourcen besonders unter Handelsbarrieren leiden, richten die Verhandler darauf ihr Augenmerk besonders. So soll TTIP das erste EU-Abkommen werden, das ein eigenes KMU-Kapitel beinhaltet.

Die Umfrage wird dem europäischen Verhandlungsteam helfen, die Inhalte und Prioritäten der Verhandlungen zu bestimmen.
