Früher Ferienbeginn verhindert deutlicheren Rückgang der Arbeitslosigkeit

"Der positive Trend auf dem Arbeitsmarkt bleibt weiter in Takt. Dass die Arbeitslosigkeit im Juni nur leicht zurückgegangen ist, hat vor allem mit dem frühen Ferienbeginn im Saarland zu tun. Für die Herbstmonate erwarten wir eine wieder stärkere Abnahme der Arbeitslosigkeit. Wir bleiben deshalb bei unserer Prognose, dass die Arbeitslosenquote in diesem Jahr in Richtung sechs Prozent (derzeit 6,6 Prozent) fallen wird." So kommentierte IHK-Hauptgeschäftsführer Volker Giersch die heute von der Regionaldirektion für Arbeit vorgelegten Arbeitsmarktzahlen.
