In der Weihnachtszeit besteht bei vielen Unternehmen Unsicherheit zu den urheberrechtlichen Bestimmungen beim öffentlichen Abspielen von Weihnachtsliedern. Jeder Betrieb, der Musik der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich macht, muss eine Lizenz bei der GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte) erwerben - darauf weist die IHK Saarland hin. Dabei ist es gleichgültig, ob diese Musik als Hintergrundmusik in Geschäftsräumen läuft oder bei Kundenveranstaltungen. Die entsprechenden Formulare können unter www.gema.de in der Rubrik "Onlineservices und Lizenzen" heruntergeladen werden. Weitere Informationen finden sich auch im IHK-Merkblatt "GEMA (R18)", welches auf der IHK-Homepage (www.ihk.saarland) unter der Kennzahl 43 zum Download zur Verfügung steht.
