Online-Händler aufgepasst: Neues Widerrufsrecht

Am Freitag, 13. Juni 2014, tritt das neue Verbraucherschutzrecht in Kraft. Alle Onlinehändler und Unternehmer, die ihre Waren und Dienstleistungen im Internet anbieten, sind gut beraten, zu diesem Stichtag auch ihre Internetseiten anzupassen. Vor allem muss die neue Widerrufsbelehrung verwendet werden. Zu befürchten ist, so Heike Cloß, IHK Saarland, dass nicht alle Unternehmen ihre Onlineshops zeitlich umstellen. Dies ist jedoch erforderlich, da der Gesetzgeber keine Übergangsfrist vorgesehen hat. Damit drohen Abmahnungen und Kosten für die betroffenen Onlinehändler. Dies gilt es zu vermeiden, so Cloß. Alle Onlinehändler sind gut beraten, am Stichtag ihre Muster-Widerrufsbelehrung zu ändern und ihrer Belehrungspflicht gegenüber Verbrauchern nachzukommen.
