Zahlungen im Außenhandel werden oft über Akkreditive, Inkassi oder Garantien abgewickelt. Viele Unternehmen tun sich schwer mit der Entscheidung, wann welches Zahlungsinstrument einzusetzen ist. Um Vorteile und Risiken wirklich abschätzen zu können, ist ein solides Grundwissen über die geltenden Regeln und Usancen unabdingbar. Von besonderer Bedeutung ist die eindeutige Erstellung und die vertragsgemäße Abwicklung der Zahlungsversprechen. Kleine Abweichungen bei der Durchführung des Versprechens werden oftmals seitens der Unternehmen als "unwichtig" gesehen - mit der Konsequenz, dass die Zahlung ausbleibt.

Unser Referent Hans Henrich Holdinghausen von der Commersbank AG Saarbrücken, wird einen Überblick über die gängigsten Risiken und Absicherungsmöglichkeiten im Außenhandel geben und den Ablauf eines Akkreditivs von der Vertragsverhandlung bis zum Eingang der Zahlung darstellen.
