"Wirtschaftswissen im Wettbewerb 2007", das Schülerquiz der Wirtschaftsjunioren, geht in eine neue Runde. Ziele, Ablauf und Inhalte des Wettbewerbes möchten wir Ihnen gerne am

im Rahmen eines Pressegesprächs in der IHK Saarland (Franz-Josef-Röder-Straße 9, 66119 Saarbrücken), Raum 1, vorstellen.

Das Schülerquiz findet in diesem Jahr bereits zum dreiundzwanzigsten Mal statt und ist bei den „kids“ sehr beliebt: 2006 testeten 6.792 saarländische Schülerinnen und Schüler ihre Wirtschaftskenntnisse bei „Wirtschaftswissen im Wettbewerb“.

Bei den Wirtschaftsjunioren sind junge Unternehmer und Führungskräfte unter 40 Jahren aus allen Bereichen der Wirtschaft organisiert - die Junioren im Saarland haben rund 160 Mitglieder. Durch gemeinsames Engagement fördern die WJS unternehmerisches Handeln und Denken. Ziel ist es, das Verantwortungsbewusstsein für eine zeitgemäße Fortentwicklung der sozialen Marktwirtschaft zu wecken und zu stärken. Ein wichtiges Element der Juniorenarbeit ist das Networking: Die WJS bieten jungen Führungskräften ein Forum für Erfahrungsaustausch und gemeinsame Qualifizierung. Der Landesverband Saarland mit Sitz in der IHK gehört zu den Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschland (WJD) mit bundesweit mehr als 11.000 Mitgliedern, weltweit sind unter dem Dach der Junior Chamber International (JCI) fast 150.000 "Jaycees" aktiv.
