Statement von IHK-Hauptgeschäftsführer Dr. Heino Klingen zur geplanten Teilabschaffung des Solidaritätszuschlags

„Das Vorhaben, den Solidaritätszuschlag für einen Großteil der Steuerzahler ab 2021 abzuschaffen, geht in die richtige Richtung. Wir hätten uns allerdings mit Blick auf die flaue Konjunktur ein beherzteres Vorgehen gewünscht. Wird der Gesetzentwurf wie vorgeschlagen verabschiedet, bleibt der Soli nicht nur an Gutverdienern hängen, sondern auch an vielen kleinen und mittleren Betrieben. Ihnen fehlten dann gerade jetzt im Konjunkturabschwung die Mittel, um dringend nötige Investitionen zu tätigen.“
So kommentierte IHK-Hauptgeschäftsführer Dr. Heino Klingen die aktuellen Pläne von Bundesfinanzminister Olaf Scholz zur Teilabschaffung des Solidaritätszuschlags zum 1. Januar 2021.
