Umwelt Forum Saar 2013: Ist das Abfall oder kann das weg? - Die Abfalleigenschaft im neuen Kreislaufwirtschaftsgesetz

Bei fast allen gewerblichen Prozessen fallen neben dem erwünschten Produkt auch Reststoffe an. Früher nannte man diese meist Abfall. Heute kann man sich dessen nicht immer ganz sicher sein. Handelt es sich tatsächlich um Abfall im Sinne des Gesetzes, einen Wertstoff oder gar um ein Nebenprodukt? Wann beginnt die Abfalleigenschaft und genau so wichtig - wann endet sie? Zum 1. Juni 2012 trat das neue Kreislaufwirtschaftsgesetz (KrWG) in Kraft, um das deutsche Recht an europäische Vorgaben anzupassen. Was hat sich dadurch geändert?
