Usability Engineering" - mit Anwenderfreundlichkeit zum Produkterfolg

Apple hat es mit Erfolgsprodukten wie dem "iPhone" vorgemacht: Benutzerfreundlichkeit (usability) kann für den Verkaufserfolg und die Imagebildung einer Marke so entscheidend sein, dass selbst Faktoren wie technische Leistungsfähigkeit oder der Verkaufspreis dahinter weit zurück treten. Und umgekehrt: Fehlende Informationen im Bestellprozess, versteckte Menüpunkte auf dem Handy oder die schwierige Programmierung des DVD-Rekorders bringen Anwender mitunter zum Verzweifeln.

Forscher des Fraunhofer Instituts für Experimentelles Software Engineering (IESE) in Kaiserslautern befassen sich systematisch mit den Möglichkeiten, Produkte anwenderorientiert zu gestalten. In einer Veranstaltung der Wirtschaftsjunioren Saarland zum Thema: "Usability Engineering" - mit Anwenderfreundlichkeit zum Produkterfolg am Montag, 19. Januar 2009, 19.00 Uhr, in der IHK Saarland, Raum 1-3, Franz-Josef-Röder-Straße 9, 66119 Saarbrücken, zeigt Dipl.-Linguistin Kerstin Klöckner, wie Benutzerfreundlichkeit realisiert werden kann und welche Evaluierungsmethoden dabei Erfolg versprechen. Kerstin Klöckner ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Projektleiterin im IESE.
