Wirtschaftskammern loben Bibliothekspreis aus

Zum vierten Mal loben die Wirtschaftskammern den Bibliothekspreis der mittelständischen Wirtschaft für das Land Sachsen-Anhalt aus. Er ist mit 5.000 Euro dotiert und wird vergeben für innovative Konzepte, die auf die gegenwärtigen Herausforderungen im Bildungswesen reagieren, mögliche zukünftige Entwicklungen einbeziehen bzw. gar mit beeinflussen und die Aspekte des lebenslangen Lernens besonders berücksichtigen. In diesem Jahr ist das Schwerpunktthema „Wirtschaft und Unternehmertum in Sachsen-Anhalt – Beitrag der Bibliotheken zur Profilierung“.

Der von den Handwerkskammern Magdeburg und Halle und von den Industrie- und Handelskammern Magdeburg und Halle-Dessau gestiftete und gemeinsam mit dem Landesverband Sachsen-Anhalt im Deutschen Bibliotheksverband ausgeschriebene Preis wird alle zwei Jahre vergeben. 2012 erhielt die Stadt- und Kreisbibliothek Osterburg-Stendal für das Vorhaben Jugendbibliothek, 2014 die Stadt-, Kreis- und Gymnasialbibliothek Gardelegen für das Vorhaben Interaktive Bibliotheksführung und 2016 die Stadt- und Kreisbibliothek „Edlef Köppen“ Genthin für das Vorhaben Kompetenzzentrum „Deutsch als Fremdsprache“ den Bibliothekspreis.

Bis zum 31. August 2018 können sich Bibliotheken aus Sachsen-Anhalt für den Preis bewerben.
