Der Werkstoff Zink ist ein natürliches Material mit großem Nutzen für die vielfältigsten Verwendungen. Als die Adresse für Informationen über den Hochleistungswerkstoff ZINK ist jetzt die neue Internetseite der Initiative ZINK online

Vielen ist die Verwendung von Zink als Korrosionsschutz von Stahl oder als Dachrinne oder auch Nahrungsergänzungsmittel bekannt. Viele der Anwendungen des nachhaltigen Werkstoffes sind jedoch wenig bekannt, weil er nicht sichtbar ist oder weil nicht vermutet wird, dass Zink für diese Anwendung geeignet ist. Die neue Internetseite der Initiative ZINK gibt einen Überblick über die Anwendungsbereiche und Materialeigenschaften. Auf mehr als 60 Seiten mit 140 Bildern, Grafiken und Videos, mehr als 50 FAQ zu verschiedenen Themengebieten und zahlreichen Downloads und Links werden unter anderem Themen wie Nachhaltigkeit, Ressourceneffizienz, Materialkreislauf und Umweltverträglichkeit behandelt. Praxisbeispiele zu Anwendungen und Projekten zu Sustainable-Development-Goals (SDG) der Mitgliedsunternehmen werden dargestellt. Speziell diese Themenbereiche werden zukünftig ständig erweitert und aktualisiert. Aktuelle Informationen zu Branchenterminen rund um den Werkstoff Zink und News aus der Initiative ZINK und ihrer Mitgliedsunternehmen werden direkt auf der Startseite präsentiert. Initiative Zink in der WVMetalle Service GmbH

Die Initiative Zink im Netzwerk der WVMetalle/GDB e.V. ist ein Zusammenschluss von Zink- und Zinklegierungsherstellern, Zinkrecyclern, Halbzeugproduzenten, Herstellern und Verarbeitern von Zinkverbindungen. Sie ist Ansprechpartner für Behörden, Anwender und für die Presse in allen Fragen rund um das Zink. Die Initiative Zink hat ihren Sitz in Düsseldorf und arbeitet in enger Kooperation mit nationalen und internationalen Zinkverbänden.
