14 startups from Germany and all over the world pitched their business ideas to interested companies and venture capitalists.
The 1. Startup. Business. Speed. Dating. is a new platform that builds bridges between international startups and companies, German industry, investors, academia and government. We break down barrier's that slow the progress of technological commercialisation, and push on the leading edge of new tech opportunities globally.
The 14 startups pitched in front of:
- Wayra Team for the possibility to become part of a corporate venture program with a direct access to the corporate network worldwide (Telefonica) and fast scale up track opportunities for startups in the field of Digital Business.
- a lot of German Venture Capitalists looking for the next chance to invest.
- many decision makers and representatives of leading German companies (Distributors, Telecommunication companies, Venture Capitals, Resellers, VARs, ISPs, Media companies, Medium and large sized manufacturing and service companies, etc.)
After the pitches a matchmaking event was organized. Each startup had the possibility to talk to all vistors about a cooperation. Startups and all participants were very happy with the results. Both sides are expecting fruitful follow-up discussions. A high quality of the event was recognized.
