INOVA Semiconductors GmbH

Inova Semiconductors was founded in February 1999 as a fab-less semiconductor manufacturer. The headquarters of the company is located in Munich, Germany.

Inova Semiconductors specializes in reliable high speed serial data communication products for Gigabit/s data transfers through standard STP copper cables up to 50 m, or through fiber optic cables up to 550 m and more!

Inova Semiconductors' GigaSTaR technology has achieved major advancements in digital visualization and infotainment systems replacing countless analog solutions currently being used – an enormous emerging market segment stimulated by the rapid drop in cost of digital Flat Panel TFT displays.

The "Digital Display Link (DDL)", a GigaSTaR based solution for long distance display links, is presently being used in a wide array of modern Passenger Information Systems, interactive Remote Terminals (Human Machine Interface), video broadcasting systems in buildings and offices, and high resolution camera surveillance systems.

The "Automotive Pixel Link" - APIX is the latest technology particularly focussing on Automotive Applications. APIX is the Industry supported communications link for Displays and Cameras within the car - enabling uncompressed Video , Audio and Control data to be transmitted over a single pair of wires.
