inPuncto announced today that its biz2ArchiveServer 4.0 has achieved SAP certification as integrated with SAP S/4HANA®.
The integration helps organizations to archive their document storage in the context of information lifecycle management (ILM) and manage the lifecycle of digital data. The dependencies on personal data and documents are mapped and can thus also be deleted within the legally required time periods.
The SAP® Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that biz²ArchiveServer 4.0 integrates with SAP S/4HANA using standard integration technologies. SAP S/4HANA is a future-ready ERP system, with built-in intelligent technologies, that transforms business processes with intelligent automation and runs on SAP HANA – a market-leading in-memory database that offers real-time processing speeds and a dramatically simplified data model.
In addition to the HTTP Content Server interface, the new version of biz²ArchiveServer also supports the WebDAV ILM interface. During the test run, the system performance was set under different workloads, whereby the archiving software has proven to be particularly stable and high performing.
The two certification scenarios, correspondingly valid for two archiving procedures via SAP ArchiveLink® or WEBDAV storage interface for SAP Information Lifecycle Management, prove the technical compliance with the certification requirements outlined by SAP for integration with SAP S/4HANA.
The inPuncto archiving software is designed to meet the needs of businesses that use SAP technologies for audit-proof and GDPR-compliant archiving. The ILM store enables both unstructured (documents, attachments and print lists) and structured data to be provided with ILM rules and data, with documents managed via the SAP ArchiveLink interface.
Thanks to a defined filing structure, the management data (ContentServer and ILM) – stored in a structured query language server that relieves the load on SAP S/4HANA – is used by two different interfaces. The stored data is always managed by SAP S/4HANA.
