Instrument Systems übernimmt Lichtmessgerätesparte der Firma X-Rite GmbH

Mit Wirkung zum 01.01.2010 hat die Instrument Systems GmbH aus München die Lichtmessgerätesparte der Firma X-Rite GmbH übernommen. Mit diesem Schritt erweitert der weltweit führende LED-Messtechnikhersteller sein Portfolio mit Produkten und Technologien für Anwendungen im Fahrzeugbereich und in der Allgemeinbeleuchtung.

Das von X-Rite übernommene Geschäft, welches bereits in der Vergangenheit unter der Markenbezeichnung Optronik aufgetreten ist, hat Instrument Systems in die neu gegründete Tochtergesellschaft Optronik Berlin GmbH eingegliedert.

Optronik nimmt eine führende Rolle bei der Ausstattung kompletter Lichtlabore in der Automobil- und Verkehrstechnik ein. Hauptprodukte sind große Goniophotometeranlagen, Retroreflexionsmesssysteme und Photometer. Namhafte Prüf- und Zertifizierungsinstitute sowie nahezu alle wichtigen Lieferanten von KFZ-Leuchten und zahlreiche Fahrzeughersteller gehören zu den Optronik Kunden.

"Die Akquisition ermöglicht Instrument Systems zukünftige Marktanforderungen beim Einsatz von LEDs in der Allgemeinbeleuchtung optimal bedienen zu können und dadurch unsere Position in der Lichtmesstechnik weiter auszubauen", kommentiert der Geschäftsführer Richard Distl. "Ferner werden bestehende Optronik Kunden von unserer Expertise in der Spektralradiometrie profitieren."
