Erstmals seit dem Platzen der Internet-Blase, haben die Unternehmen wieder das Bedürfnis, sich an Fachmessen zu beteiligen und Ihre Produkte zu präsentieren. Die Stimmung bei den Ausstellern war sehr positiv, denn alle Aussteller erwarten Abschlüsse. „Wir haben unsere Ziele für die 10. Internet World erreicht und bei den Fachmessebesuchern sogar übertroffen“, resumiert Melanie Fank, Head of Marketing & Sales.
Zu den Höhepunkten des Kongresses zählten das Eröffnungsplenum mit Prof. Dr. Manfred Mayer, Leiter des Referats „eGouvernment“ der Bayerischen Staatskanzlei und die Podiumsdiskussion mit internationalen Referenten. Paolo Giambertone, Web Marketing Manager von ING Direct Italy, Sixto Arias, Präsident der Mobile Marketing Association Spain, Harald R. Fortmann, Vizepräsident des BVDW und Jörg Eugster von NetBusniess Consulting AG (Schweiz) tauschten sich über das Thema „Online Consumers in Europe: What they buy, what they want, where they go!“ aus.
Web 2.0-Pioniere hielten ebenfalls interessante Case-Studies, u.a. gaben Lukasz Gadowski von Spreadshirt, Stefan Kellner von plazes.com und Mark Pohlmann, Themenblog/Kommunikation 2.0, Ausblicke auf künftige Schwerpunkte und Neuerungen im Internet.
