Hessens kommunales Gebietsrechenzentrum erhält ISO 27001 Zertifizierung auf der Basis von IT-Grundschutz

BSI überreicht Zertifizierungsdokumente an ekom21

Eine Überprüfung nach ISO 27001 auf der Basis von IT-Grundschutz hat ekom21, das größte Kommunale Gebietsrechenzentrum in Hessen, bereits erfolgreich überstanden. Am 12. August will ihm das BSI (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik) nun offiziell die entsprechenden Zertifizierungsdokumente überreichen.

Die Zertifizierung selbst, nach ISO 27001 auf der Basis von IT-Grundschutz, wurde gemäß den Anforderungen des BSI von einem durch das BSI zertifizierten Auditor durchgeführt. In diesem Fall hatte ein Team der intersoft consulting services, einer Hamburger Consultingfirma für IT-Sicherheit, Datenschutz und IT-Compliance, den hessischen Dienstleister bei dem Projekt begleitet. Auditor Martin Steger: “Die Zertifizierung weist nach, dass IT-Sicherheit einen hohen Stellenwert im Risikomanagement von ekom21 besitzt.“

ekom21 betreut über 30.000 Anwender aus 550 Verwaltungen. Die Kernkompetenzen des Dienstleisters liegen im Bereich der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie. Eine Zertifizierung nach ISO 27001 auf der Basis von IT-Grundschutz, wie ekom21 sie durchführen ließ, umfasst die Inhalte der ISO 27001 (ISMS) sowie die Prüfung der konkreten Sicherheitsmaßnahmen auf der Basis von IT-Grundschutz.
