The International Air Transport Association (IATA) will give insight on congress day one into the challenges of implementing e-freight, as well as an overview of its benefits and how it is impacting the industry. Additionally, delegates can participate in a panel discussion with the IATA, leading airlines, freight forwarders, cargo handlers and airports.
Congress day two on 25 January will focus on time and temperature sensitive goods, as well as the current security issues facing the air cargo industry.
The highlight of the interactive workshop day on 26 January will be a behind the scenes tour of Frankfurt International Airport, including a short presentation on the cargo operations at the site, followed by a guided tour to different parts of the airport including the airport cargo handling area and CargoCity North and South.
Further, delegates can put into practice the knowledge gained throughout the first two conference days by taking part in workshops focussing on e-freight issues, alternative sources of aviation fuel, time and temperature sensitive goods and labelling, and air cargo security.
Industry experts from companies such as IATA, AirAsia, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Cargolux Airlines, Lufthansa Cargo AG Int SA and more will present case studies and welcome questions and discussion in their respective areas of expertise.
