3rd International Wind Turbine Bearings 2020

With the agenda focused on bearings for wind turbines, this conference includes discussions on the potential of journal bearing performance improvement by use of new coatings. Turbine and bearings manufacturers will come together to discuss their experience and the current challenges for bearing design. Among many others, the event will address the following topics:
  • Transparent assessment of bearing failures and lifetime along the supply chain
  • Hear about the rolling element contact pressure in pitch bearings and the influence of surrounding structures
  • Discover new bearing design and layout for larger wind turbines
  • Experience the potential of journal bearing performance improvement by use of new coatings
  • Learn how to save cost by maximizing useful bearing life and remanufacturing of bearings
Participate in five interactive workshops and an additional focus day with leading industry experts to discuss the roadmap for root cause failures of wind turbine bearings in drivetrains, bearing main shaft design concepts, remanufacturing of bearings, and new approaches in validation testing of bearings.
