10th International Conference Offshore Foundations 2020

Running from 22 - 25 June 2020, the 10th International Conference Offshore Foundations will focus on structural integrity in deep waters and discover latest technologies. Wind energy professionals will come together to exchange knowledge, ideas, and real-world strategies on structural integrity, geotechnical investigation and corrosion protection.

With the agenda focused on offshore foundations, this conference includes discussions on corrosion protection, challenging soil conditions, design of monopile foundation. Turbine manufacturers, foundations designers, and utility professionals will come together to discuss about optimizing the installation process. Among many others, the event will address the following topics:
  • Get the latest updates on how to protect used materials best from corrosion to increase lifetime at reasonable costs
  • Hear about geotechnical investigation in challenging seismographic regions like Asia to reduce risks and costs
  • Join in the discussion about how to optimize the installation process

Participate in a Pre-conference focus day on corrosion protection that will discuss the upcoming issues corrosion protection design and suggest design for better wear resistance. With 5 interactive workshops with leading industry experts to discuss local content and local value added, measurement tolerances, flanges, and comparison of ICCP and GACP systems and alternatives.

This expert forum will bring together major players active in the wind energy industry including EDPR, Ramboll, Scottish Power Renewables, Vattenfall, RWE Renewables International GmbH, Innogy SE, Van Oord, COWI, Ideol Offshore, among many others.
