ISO Professional Services GmbH (IPS) has stood its ground among several providers and is introducing the certified product Marlin UST-ID check, which is integrated in SAP, into the data governance process of CeramTec GmbH.
Since the beginning of the year, the verification of the UST-ID is legally binding for transactions within the European Union. For large, internationally active enterprises, an uncomplicated and automatic process is therefore indispensable. In the search for an appropriate software, CeramTec came across the SAP solutions from ISO Professional Services.
The Marlin UST-ID Check (MUP) has already been successfully installed at CeramTec and is currently being used in the accounts receivable department. The new solution replaces a manual process and thus increases efficiency. MUP has convinced CeramTec with its scope of services. From now on, the customer can also carry out mass checks of master data, check transaction data and set locks. The MUP monitor creates audit-proof documents of the checks. The solution also sends notifications for selected tests by means of a setting in “customizing”.
The introduction of the SAP add-on into the existing governance process went according to plan — the project was completed after just one month. "We were pleased that everything went so smoothly. There were no complications whatsoever during the introduction of the solution," reports Manuela Weschke, SAP Consultant FI/QM in CeramTec's Information Systems Department. "The additionally ordered support hours were ultimately not needed", says Markus Flott, Project Manager and SAP Consultant for Data Quality Management, ISO Professional Services.
