ISO Software Systeme has a new customer, this time from Asia: JR Kyushu Jet Ferry, a Japanese ferry company belonging to Kyushu Railway Company. This is the first ferry company to choose software developed for the revenue accounting of airlines. JR Kyushu Jet Ferry intends to sell its tickets via GDS, the distribution channel through which airlines sell their tickets. For a seamless process chain in this sales operation, a revenue accounting system is needed, which is why the Japanese company chose SKYfly Revenue.
With its hydrofoil ferries – the so-called Beetle – the company connects Fukuoka in Japan with Busan in South Korea. In 2020, in addition to SKYfly Revenue, the company will also commission a new and luxurious ship, the trimaran "Queen Beetle".
