For this project, various teams of ISO collaborated and put the new website – www.suncountry.com – and the new booking platform into operation successfully. The new user interface simplifies booking travel significantly for both the customers of Sun Country Airlines and its internal reservations team.
ISO provided an entirely new call center platform and website for the Minnesota-based airline and travel provider. This includes not just a facelift for the site, but also many enhancements and additions such as the integration of the Sun Country Airlines reward program Ufly, improved reservation processes, and much more – altogether a much better shopping experience for the customers.
The new platform was deployed on redundant cloud-based servers in collaboration with a US hosting provider. It is powered by ISO’s e-commerce Internet Booking Engine and ISO’s web-based travel platform Pacific as the back office solution.
Sun Country Airlines is very pleased with the result of the project as the new site brings significant innovation and opens new doors of opportunity for future innovation.
Michael Warnken, Senior Director of E-Commerce at Sun Country Airlines, said that ISO can be proud of what they helped accomplish: “Not only has it helped Sun Country, but I believe that it will also further solidify ISO as a technology leader in this space. Our partnership with ISO has been a strong one. We are very fortunate to have found such a great partner.”
“ISO is very pleased with the outcome of this important project. It covers many aspects of both an airline website and a call center – from booking air-only and vacation packages to offering travelers various ancillaries such as selecting seats, transfers, rental cars and bags. Further features include the use of Ufly frequent flyer points to pay and collect, the check-in module and much more. Both teams worked very well together to build this customized experience for consumers, travel agents and the call center agents connecting to Sabre and other suppliers by creating and managing Super PNR’s. This will strengthen our role as solution provider for airlines and tour operators, in North America and in other parts of the world,” says Holger Voss, Director Business Development from ISO's Montreal office.
Both Sun Country Airlines and ISO look forward continuing this great partnership for further innovative enhancements and projects to achieve more sales and efficiencies.
