The HANNOVER MESSE's line up in 2010 covers all the industry trends, featuring the themes of Energy, MobilTec, Industrial Automation and Industrial Supply. Nine leading trade fairs provide a platform for international exhibitors from various sectors of industry to network and share their know-how.
iTAC is exhibiting in the “Digital Factory” area, where the focus is on integrated processes and IT solutions. The company's trade fair concept is very much geared to the new iTAC.MES.Suite Release 7. The manufacturing execution system is designed for enterprises in the automotive, electronics, mechanical, medical technology, pipeline, PV, and automation technology sectors.
iTAC.MES.Suite: up to speed with SaaS & Co.
The trade visitors can look forward to getting an insight into the new technological features and functions of the iTAC.MES.Suite 7. The MES software can also be operated as an SaaS application in data centres, which means it is ready for future cloud computing requirements. It is suitable for large, medium and small enterprises which may or may not have the necessary resources or know how to operate a high-availability MES solution.
It guarantees essential production-related requirements such as flexibility, fast response times, efficiency and cost-awareness thanks to iTAC's decision to base its ARTES technology platform on Java EE5. ARTES enables platform independent and extremely efficient communication with external plant components while guaranteeing failure safety and load distribution.
Efficient production – the benefits at a glance
The iTAC specialists will be answering trade fair visitors' questions about their product's technological benefits as well as 'How can the MES be opti-mally incorporated as a strategic element in the overall flexible and networked production structure?' 'What benefits and potential savings are associated with the MES system?' 'Why is traceability so important for trans-parency and safety in production processes?'
"Suppliers increasingly face challenges such as international compliance requirements, customer standards, legislation, competitive pressure and costs," explained Michael Fischer, Head of Marketing and Communications at iTAC Software AG. "Our manufacturing execution system facilitates efficient production management taking all central factors such as compliance with customer requirements, compliance with production specifications or end-to-end traceability into consideration. It is a bridge between the production floor and the commercial side of the business, and the company's supply chain partners."
Nord Stream presents on the value of MES in the construction of the Baltic Sea Pipeline
iTAC's customer, Nord Stream AG, will be explaining the central role that the iTAC.MES.Suite played in the construction of the Baltic Sea Pipeline and the added value that the manufacturing execution system delivers. At the MES Conference on "Efficient Production" on 21 April at 14:10h, Ralf Garrecht, Head of Information Management at Nord Stream AG, will present "Integrated Quality Management in Pipeline Construction" .
The iTAC.MES.Suite proved to be invaluable during the construction of Nord Stream's 1,220 kilometre-long Baltic Sea Pipeline, which has linked Russia with the European Union via the Baltic Sea since the beginning of 2010. "Pipeline quality and safety are the highest priorities, from the planning through the construction to the operation stage. A centrally operated (SaaS) MES safeguards the production and logistics chain for the Baltic Sea pipeline construction," explained Ralf Garrecht. That's why he will pre-dominantly be talking about continuous quality assurance in the production process, a central data base for all quality data and pipeline construction certification and safety standards.
Further information is available first hand at iTAC Software AG's Stand E60 in Hall 17 of the HANNOVER MESSE between 19 and 23 April.
