The “SMT Hybrid Packaging“ is Europe’s leading event for system integration within the microelectronics. At this international business meeting point the newest products, services and solutions are being presented. To that, iTAC is presenting smart solutions for the manufacturing of the electronics industry and, among others, it is introducing the “Smart Electronic Factory”. The latter is an information and demonstration platform for Industry 4.0 applications. The objective of the Smart Electronic Factory, which is integrated into a real manufacturing factory in Limburg (Germany), is to realize dif-ferent Industry 4.0 scenarios.
Furthermore, the following highlights are being showed:
- iTAC.smart.WatchApp: Extension of the iTAC.BI.Portal application as intelligent human machine interface. The wearable dashboard of the iTAC.smart.WatchApp creates an additional user interface of the iTAC.BI.Portal which is integrated into the MES. The app delivers comfortably and mobile KPIs in realtime from the manufacturing and guarantees the data’s permanent actualization.
- iTAC.smart.MESDevice: For a fast and optimized integration of manual operations and highly automated manufacturing processes. Via plug & play to an integration of devices, which are close to the system, such as barcode reader, RFID scanner and transport systems. Furthermore, processes can be interlocked online. Being placed all over the factory, the local iTAC.smart.MESDevices can communicate with each other via the interface standard for software OPC UA (Unified Architecture).
- iTAC.smart.ReceivingDevice: A consolidated incoming goods’ solution to clearly identify any materials. For an exact labeling of material bunches so that material charges can be captured and traced back completely. The manufacturer’s information about the materials can be captured automatically within the fraction of a second through a reading process of the corresponding manufacturer or rather of the supplier-specific material label.
- iTAC.Trace.Server: Embedded system for plant-specific Industry 4.0 applications. With it a traceability solution can be quickly integrated and put into operation, independent from the central server environment. Thus, system functionalities, such as the services TR (Traceability) and ML (Material & Logistics) of the iTAC.MES.Suite, can be provided for one defined production line without the necessity to roll out a time-consuming, crossplant MES.
These and further solutions are being introduced by iTAC at “SMT Hybrid Packaging”. Altogether, the hardware and software solutions simplify the integration of plant- and production-related processes. This constant IoT approach paves companies their way to real Industry 4.0 applications.
