"This year, for the first time at HANNOVER MESSE, which is taking place under the motto "Home of Industrial Pioneers", all MES vendors will be centred in hall 17 "Digital Ecosystems". At our booth we will be showing how companies can achieve the required transparency and controlled processes for Industry 4.0 with MES and IIoT solutions. In the course of this, we will be presenting new analytics functions, an enhanced Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) service, the evolutionary stage to the new Workbench and more - all related to our Manufacturing Execution System iTAC.MES.Suite," explains Peter Bollinger, CEO of iTAC Software AG.
With the release 9.20.00 of the iTAC.MES.Suite, the iTAC.Workbench, a browser-based framework for the integration of any HTML5-compliant application, was launched. In doing so, iTAC is increasingly focusing on platform independence, flexibility, mobile capability, usability and simple distribution.
Smart Production Logistics with Automated Guided Vehicles
At the trade fair, iTAC will also be presenting intelligent solutions for Production Logistics 4.0, with AGVs offering a wide range of optimization options. They allow both flexible production processes and automated material replenishment concepts to be implemented. Some of the advantages include: Better utilization of production capacity, reduced workload for personnel, control over the material at all times and no need for buffer stock.
Individual Manufacturing Analytics solutions
By using iTAC.Manufacturing.Analytics, factory operators can easily and quickly create solutions for complex requirements - either in cooperation with iTAC or independently. "Data is the essential base for the optimization of production processes as well as new value adding opportunities in the Smart Factory. Once the data has been collected, it must be processed and strategically evaluated, intelligently visualized and linked to a range of services. All of this is possible with the iTAC.Manufacturing.Analytics solution. The benefits will be demonstrated at the trade fair," explains Peter Bollinger.
Enhanced APS service for detailed production planning
Efficient MES-based production also includes detailed order planning. Therefore, the iTAC.MES.Suite has integrated the Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) service GANTTPLAN for several years. The service is provided by the iTAC subsidiary DUALIS GmbH IT Solution. The 9.20.00 release of the iTAC.MES.Suite included new features and extensions to the APS. The service now enables, among other things, the integration and planning of serial production based on the production version as well as the generation of order lots and the splitting of production orders.
iTAC will be presenting these and further innovations at HANNOVER MESSE at the joint booth with DUALIS GmbH IT Solution in hall 17, booth C68. On 23 April, iTAC will also be a partner of the MES conference and part of the Guided Tour MES.
