iTAC Software Inc., a leading provider of platform-independent MES solutions, will be opening a new office and demonstration center in Southfield, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. The move is an important part of an increased focus on expanding iTAC's presence in the North American market. The new facility is strategically located just north of the Detroit metropolitan area, positioning iTAC within the major automotive hub of North America. Its formal opening will occur in May of this year.
The new and bigger office will be located inside the North American headquarters of iTAC’s new parent company, Dürr AG, which will help iTAC to leverage the powerful infrastructure that Dürr has developed in the area over many years.
The move is accompanied by the installation of a demonstration center. This new attraction will allow its visitors to get hands-on demonstrations of the complete suite of iTAC software products, including its cloud-ready MES system with its enterprise business intelligence services, real-time production dashboards and big-data processing capabilities. Visitors can get a practice-oriented overview and understanding of how iTAC’s Industry 4.0-enabling solutions can help customers to truly realize the vision of the smart factory.
