Mit dem Orion ist den Ingenieuren aus Texas ein Meilenstein gelungen: Es können jetzt bis zu 16 User auf 32 Rechner zugreifen - selbstverständlich mit voller USB 2.0 Funktionalität. Die CATX Serveranschlussmodule können genau wie die CATX Bedienplätze bis zu 140m vom Orion entfernt sein. Im Falle der Verwendung von Glasfaser-Modulen sind Distanzen bis zu 10km in Full HD DVI Qualität ohne Probleme zu erreichen. Dies ist gerade für Kontrollräume von grossem Interesse. Es können dort auch Server mit mehreren Grafikkarten angeschlossen werden. Durch die Audio-Option kann man das System auch sehr gut bei professionellen Digital Signage Anwendungen einsetzen.
