Die KVM 4U Minicom-Distribution der itworx-pro GmbH in Hamburg und München (www.minicom-distribution.de) verlängert aufgrund des grossen Erfolges den limitierten Preisnachlass auf ein Spitzen-KVM IP-Gerät bis zum 30.4.2009. Der Smart IP Access erweitert das System (PC, Server oder z.B. Digital Signage Player) um Remote KVM Kontrolle via LAN, WAN oder Internetverbindungen zu Servern, Computern und KVM Switches (einschliesslich Drittherstellergeräte). Er bietet ausserdem eine integrierte Fernsteuerung von mehr als 2 serielle Geräten. Zum Beispiel ermöglicht er die serielle Kontrolle des Power Management einen Remote Reboot und das An- und Ausschalten der Server von jedem beliebigen Standort aus. Der Smart IP Access kann entweder als Standalone-Gerät bedient werden oder über KVM.net® II – Minicoms umfassendes System für Unternehmen, das über ein sicheres zentrales Management KVM-Zugriff auf standortverteilte Server bietet.
