Der schon tausendfach verkaufte EagleEye Rack war und ist der effektivste Weg, um Server-Racks mit mehreren Computern in Verbindung mit einem KVM-Switch-System zu steuern. Mit seiner geringen Höhe von nur 1HE im 19"-Rack beinhaltet er ein hochwertiges Marken-LCD-Display (wahlweise 15", 17" und jetzt auch 20") mit einer Auflösung von bis zu 1.024 x 768 (17" bis 1.280 x 1.024, bei der neuen 20" Version bis zu 1.600 x 1.200) Bildpunkten und eine Tastatur mit integriertem Touch-Pad in einem ausziehbaren Schubfach.

In Verbindung mit Monitor-Umschaltern (KVM-Switches) ist es möglich, von dieser Konsole bis zu 1.000 oder mehr Rechner zu steuern - der EagleEye Rack eignet sich aufgrund seines geringen Platzbedarfs aber auch hervorragend für den schnellen Notfall-Zugriff im Serverraum, auch wenn die angeschlossenen Rechner ansonsten remote bedient werden.
