SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH launches Xenon-SAPPHIRE lenses for high-resolution line-scan cameras

VISION 2012

(PresseBox) (Bad Kreuznach, )
At VISION 2012, Schneider-Kreuznach presents nine high-performance Xenon-SAPPHIRE lenses for 12k and 16k line-scan cameras with a line length of up to 62.4 mm. These lenses have been developed to meet the stringent requirements of web and surface inspections and are the first choice for FPD and PCB inspection systems. They are broadband coated ensuring an optimum transmission for the range from 400 to 1000 nm, and both excellent optical and mechanical properties. With a resolution of more than 100 lp/mm, the lenses can be used for sensors with a pixel size of 3.5 µm.

Xenon-SAPPHIRE lenses are available with a magnification range from β' = -0.02 to β' = -1.75, including a version for the use with an 80 mm beam splitter for coaxial illumination. Precise fine mechanics and very low manufacturing tolerances minimize contrast loss. The lenses are attached to the customer's camera via a V70 interface.
