Short pass and long pass filters
In addition to long pass absorptive filters, Schneider-Kreuznach now offers a series of six long pass industrial filters. They feature sharp cut-on wavelengths from 430 to 820 nm. The company has also launched a new series of short pass filters designed with sharp cut-off wavelengths from 580 to 690 nm. All filters have a broadband anti-reflection coating to eliminate interfering light.
Short pass and long pass filters are ideally suited to fluorescence and wavelength sorting applications. By combining a short pass filter with a long pass filter, a tailored band pass filter can be created. All filters are available mounted (M25.5 to M67) and unmounted with a 10 to 74 mm diameter. They can be customized on request. All filters are RoHS-compliant.
New BP 490-180 band pass filter as an alternative to the BG 39 color glass filter
With a spectral transmission range of 400 to 580 nm, Schneider-Kreuznach's new BP 490-180 is the ideal alternative to the widely-used BG 39 glass, which is known as very soft. With a surface quality of lambda/4, the filter does not influence the image even in high resolution systems. The new Schneider-Kreuznach BP490-180 is an interference filter and therefore depends on the angle of incident. It is available mounted (M25.5 to M67) and unmounted with a 10 to 74 mm diameter. It can be customized on request. The filter is RoHS-compliant.
The BP 490-180 is ideally suited to all applications that require a durable blue filter with high quality surface, for example in process control during production or for sorting plants in the food and packaging industry.
Sensor cover glasses
Schneider-Kreuznach presents 1 mm thick sensor cover glasses with a 16 mm diameter for 1" CCD and CMOS sensors at VISION 2012. Thanks to their excellent surface quality of more than lambda/4, the image quality is not impaired. The sensor cover glasses are available in two wavelength bands: IFG UI 515 0.16 1 for transmission from 380 to 650 nm and IFG UI 50 0.16 1 for transmission from 370 to 600 nm. Blocking is below 1% in both filters from 300 to 1000 nm outside the respective transmission band.
