The Super-Digitar is aimed at photographers who need a wide angle to capture expansive images with freedom of movement for perspective corrections or shifting. The lens has been recalculated and its mechanics modified. It has a focal length of 28 mm and a large 90 mm image circle, enabling the lens to support all the possible settings available in modern cameras. The apochromatically corrected 10-element double Gauss lens provides high-quality images even at full aperture and features a homogenous resolution of up to 80 line pairs and excellent contrast with a working aperture of 8.
The APO-Digitar is a newly designed lens with a focal length of 60 mm. It has been created for studio photographers who require a standard lens for normal images with freedom of movement for perspective corrections or shifting. The very large 120 mm image circle allows extensive adjustments of the apochromatically corrected 8-element double Gauss lens. The latest processing and manufacturing technologies have been used in its serial production to create pictures of hitherto unknown quality.
