To mitigate the environmental impact of the packaging, the EU has introduced the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which mandates that packaging in the EU must be recyclable by 2030. This thorough research has led to the development of a new hot melt adhesive that can be used at temperatures as low as 99°C. Significantly, this innovative adhesive consumes much less energy compared with other hot melt adhesives, actively contributing to a smaller ecological footprint.
