Ms. Earth visits JULABO

(PresseBox) (Seelbach, )
Last weekend, Ms. Earth 2018, Dr. Corinne Devin, visited the JULABO GmbH in Seelbach. CEO Markus Juchheim and his wife Jennifer led her through the company and presented the sustainable new office building, which was inaugurated in the spring of 2019 at the headquarters in Seelbach.

Dr. Corinne Devin won Ms. Earth 2018 at the Mrs./Ms. Earth International Pageant and since then has been an ambassador for climate protection worldwide. In this role, Markus and Jennifer Juchheim welcomed her on July 27, 2019 at the Seelbach premises. The sustainable construction impressed Dr. Devin during a tour of the new operating rooms: "I think it is exemplary that JULABO has focused on low-emission materials and an energy-efficient air conditioning," said Devin.

JULABO attaches great importance to the conservation of the environment even on a smaller scale. This includes the active avoidance of plastic waste. In 2018, all employees received a durable glass bottle, which they can use to refill water at several dispensers free of charge. Positive side effect: For every bottle sold, one euro goes into the development of drinking water projects.

Last Saturday, JULABO organized a big family day for the entire workforce. All employees had the opportunity to show their families the company and their personal workplaces up close while enjoying snacks and cold drinks. Some took the opportunity to discuss issues such as sustainability and climate change with Corinne Devin. The direct contact with JULABO was made by Jennifer Juchheim, who also comes from the USA and attended college with Corinne Devin.

At the end of the visit, Corinne symbolically presented JULABO with a brand new insect hotel. These wooden structures help provide a home for various beneficial insects such as wild bees or bumblebees and thus contribute to local species protection and species conservation. "Sustainability and environmental protection are major global issues, to which each and every one of us can make our own important contribution even with small actions," said Devin.

CEO Markus Juchheim drew a positive conclusion on the successful day: "I am pleased that Corinne has confirmed that we have taken the right path with the ecologically sustainable new building. Thus, the new building fits in perfectly with our corporate vision >Superior Temperature Technology for a Better Life
