Efficient compressed air 4.0

Kaeser at POWTECH

(PresseBox) (Coburg, )
Companies that use bulk goods in their business need them transported as economically, reliably and efficiently as possible. Kaeser Kompressoren will be showcasing the ideal solution for every need at this year’s POWTECH.

Rather than purchasing incomplete separate equipment, enjoy the benefits of a fully networked complete station that provides comprehensive data that can be easily accessed and evaluated from anywhere:  Industrie 4.0 is now available for blower stations, bringing with it maximum energy efficiency and availability.

The Sigma Air Manager 4.0 master controller lies at the heart of a modern blower station and is the key technology to open up access to the advanced services that Industrie 4.0 has to offer, such as remote monitoring (Sigma Smart Air). Providing the core intelligence, it controls the individual machines for optimal efficiency and precisely adjusts their flow rate to accommodate real-time demand. The Sigma Air Manager 4.0 analyses operating data in a matter of seconds, simulates alternative management scenarios and selects the most efficient option. The result? Unprecedented energy efficiency.

Of course, this is only possible if the components within a station work together as efficiently as possible. This is assured by Kaeser’s CBS to HBS series rotary screw blowers with flow rates from 3 to 160 m³/min and a pressure differential of up to 1100 mbar. Up to 35-percent more efficient than conventional rotary lobe blowers and providing energy savings in the double digit range compared with many commonly available rotary screw and turbo blowers, they truly impress with their exceptional performance.

When it comes to compressors, Kaeser offers a comprehensive portfolio of perfectly tailored solutions for cost-effective, reliable compressed air production and supply. For businesses with smaller compressed air needs, the compact Aircenter with a flow rate of 0.85 to 1.32 m³/min and a maximum 13 bar of constant pressure is a great choice. Larger frequency-controlled models up to the CSG series are available for medium requirements from 4.8 to 51.8 m³/min with pressures up to 10 bar(g). Furthermore, machines can be equipped with an integrated i.HOC rotation dryer to provide a dependable supply of high quality oil-free compressed air for higher compressed air demands.

Kaeser Kompressoren looks forward to greeting visitors in Hall 4, Stand 521.
