Die Bilddaten per DVI/HDMI direkt zum Monitor oder per Snapshot direkt auf die Speicherkarte - die neue CMOS Kamera-Plattform von Kappa braucht keinen PC mehr. Prozessor und Embedded Linux Betriebssystem sind direkt an Bord zusammen mit vielen weiteren Extras wie High Definition, Live Streams, bis 5 Megapixel, max. 20 Fps, Webserver und Ftp-Zugang. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die enorme Schnittstellenvielfalt mit Fast Ethernet (RJ45), USB (2.0), HDMI (DVI), SVIDEO (Y/C), Infrarot und Keypad. Unendlich ist die Welt der Daten. Die Streams oder Standbilder sind nahezu unbegrenzt skalier- und komprimierbar. Die En-/Decodierung basiert auf H264 (max. 16 MBit/s), MPEG2, JPEG und MJPEG. Umfangreiche Kameraeinstellungen und smarte Bildverarbeitungsfeatures gehören zum Funktionsumfang, auch Gesichts- und Bewegungserkennung sind implementierbar. Viele Einsatzfelder adressiert Kappa - die neue Kamera-plattform erfüllt alle Wünsche.
