Kappa setzt Maßstäbe in Technik, Design und Preis/Leistung. Konzipiert für Software Development Einbindungen, vereint die neue PS-Kameras-Serie (PS 4/40, PS(c) 100) exzellente Signalqualität, industrietaugliches Gesamtdesign und modernste Software Umgebung auf Basis .net und C-API. Die rauscharmen Kameras sind mit CameraLink oder FireWire (IIDC kompatibel) ausgestattet (GigE Vision in Vorbereitung). Umfangreiche Standardfunktionen, wie 12 Bit Processing, Echtzeitfarbverarbeitung, Binning und Partial Scan Modus sind mit Zusatzfeatures, wie zweite serielle Schnittstelle, Bildspeicher oder Signierfunktion über Krytochip kombinierbar. Wählbar ist die Ausführung im markanten 6-Kant-Designgehäuse, gängigem Würfelgehäuse oder als Elektronikmodul.
