On the stand shared by Kardex Remstar and Kardex Mlog, visitors were able to see up-close how modular reality technology uses intelligent and connected modules to produce customized solutions for the individual warehouse needs of companies of every size in a wide range of industries. The modules can be expanded in any number of ways and allow companies to gradually automate their warehouse processes, starting with the stand-alone system right through to the fully integrated logistics solution. Thanks to their flexibility and scalability, the independent modules can be easily and inexpensively integrated into the processes of existing storage systems.
A further highlight was the Kardex Power Wall. This could be used to produce three-dimensional drafts of logistics systems and optimize them where necessary along all stages of a project before they are even built. In addition, Kardex Remstar demonstrated the strength of its automated storage systems in emphatic style by presenting highly efficient processes in the area of storage, retrieval, order picking, buffering, and sequencing. At the same time, a bridge was masterfully built between the virtual and real worlds on the stand: Besides being able to view the storage systems on display, visitors could also use tablets to get a detailed look at Kardex Remstar’s innovative storage solutions and life cycle services in digital form.
